I don't think he was overly concerned about anyone's sensibilities, lol

I love Sound FX. I also think that Rex Ryan needs to be miked up 24/7 and then have a highligh Sound FX devoted strictly to Rex every week. I'd watch that.

P.S. - I don't like seeing Marshawn Lynch break off long TD runs. Even if it's against the toothless Panthes!

Aaron's emotions resemble Tom Brady far more closely than Peyton Manning.

Either way, whoever he might resemble...my interpretation of Rodgers' "antics" has always been either:

1) Frustration with himself. Usually points to himself and admits blame.
2) Frustration with vets who he knows are better than that/ran wrong route.
3) Frustration with n00bs who are getting rattled with the pace of the game.

None of these times do I see him "angry" but rather upset with stupid & clearly fixable mistakes. I have never, ever seen him holler or whine at his teammates.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

That is a very valid and important point. He doesn't ever yell at people. He gets frustrated and waves his arm, but you never see him jawing at anybody. One of the things that bothers me the most is when QBs are jawing at people on the sidelines. That shows that the team is falling apart, when players go out of their way to scream at one another, after the fact. That shit doensn't need to happen.

Rodgers is a great leader and so far I don't see an issue with the way he acts on the field. It is great to see our quarterback being an emotional leader at that very moment, instead of waiting for the sidelines "where the cameras aren't watching".

I think some are reading too deep into his frustration after the endzone pass and that is the problem, people reading too much into it.
Unless Rodgers is mic'd up during that game or someone has a transcript of what he said, no one knows what is going on.
Looking through past frustrations, one can easily say Rodgers was frustrated with himself and not Driver on that play. One can also say Rodgers is smart enough to know that the overthrow was his fault and mature enough not to blame Driver, but himself on that play.

As for the title belt celebration comment, let Rodgers do his thing. Don't know if you ever realized how much players (and fans) feed off that celebration dhazer, but it is a big deal and has nothing to do with winning the championship.

Exactly. He patted Quinn Johnson's fucking head, ffs. He got stern, called him out, then patted his head which all basically reads as "Goddammit, Quinn, come on. You're better than that. Next time, do the right thing. Ok, we're cool, no worries. So let's go out and do it right, buddy!"

WTF more would you really want?

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

So I got this morning after a piss poor night of sleep.. watching snow fall like someone above is dumping it from a bucket.. anyway last night a hear a snippet of a song that I haven't heard in a bit.. and it brought be back..

Long story short I forgot the difference in emotion from off the field from on it.. and that the game is based on emotion and desire above all else.

Talent isn't shit without the fire to want it.

Forgive me for my slip in blending the game into the real world, where the rules of society and norms just don't apply... now boys go out there Sunday rip their frigg'in heads off and play like it is your last day.

God damn am I getting old.
