I still claim those two communicate via text, phone, etc but deny it publicly. I gave my reasons and explanation.

lol. So, you're saying Brett's been texting A-Rod, too???

You think he'd know better after Jenn Sterger...

In that case Rodgers is probably smirking, thinking, "heh, mine's bigger."

It appears though that Rodgers' intended audience is not Favre, but the camera. I haven't checked the Nielson ratings on this game but I imagine it was pretty high given that it's the last Favre vs Packers game possibly ever.

Rodgers was in the limelight the way a rock star is before 10k screaming fans and he created a performance that would make Ozzy Osbourne proud. He knows it too. The monkey is officially off Rodgers' back and he can now help us get a Lombardi trophy. This is Rodgers' 1994 season, except Rodgers beat his Joe Montana instead of the other way around.

Rodgers' explanation

That was, Brett and I embraced, and then he made a funny comment about (Packers offensive coordinator) James Campen as we were separating, Rodgers explained Wednesday when asked about the photo at his locker. And I looked back and smirked about his comment about James Campen and they froze it.

Shaking his head and smiling, Rodgers added, You can put any tag you want underneath that picture. I can tell you exactly what happened. People are still going to read into that.

Went to the link you had, IM, and found it pretty funny. Down at the bottom of the page, they had a blog that said:

Aaron has always been great with the camera. If you haven't seen the way he has snuck into the background of just about every team captain picture since he became a packer you really should. See link below:

They only have 27 photos, and some of them are back into the Favre days, so I don't know about the sneaking into the background of just about every team captain photo, but he certainly shows up in all lot of them. The funniest (at least to me) was the bottom left photo, which looks like he has a couple of pieces of paper stuck up his nose.

The reason why there are only 27 photos is that they are all old. In none of the pictures are any of the players wearing the new NFL captain's patch., introduced (I believe) in 2007. So these pictures are all from 2006 and earlier, predating Rodgers' first year as a starter.

I haven't noticed the Packers with a captain's patch. Got a pic?

Edit,

UserPostedImage

haven't found a pic of the Packers wearing one yet. Argh

The stars represent years of being a captain, which is a little strange because the Packers don't have yearly captains, or even weekly captains. They elect/select new captains each week.
