Again.. I don't have any thing against the move of releasing Harris and commend the Packers for the way they handled his recovery process.
But it is hard to imagine that the Packers are better without Harris than with for the remainder of the season, but understand that the move was a long term decision.

Well, he does have only 2 tackles, but you get it.
I don't question for a second that the Packers are better off as they are. Al was getting taken quite a bit the last couple years. I am not counting Plaxico bullying him around either because he had good coverage on a lot of those completed passes, but a blanket wouldn't have stopped Eli to Plax that game.
Al has lost a step. Tramon and Sam are producing well. Sam is learning. We have young guys that are playing on Special Teams, Al wouldn't have fit in on special teams, he's not fast enough.
I like Al a lot, wish him the best, but its easy to see the Packers wouldn't have been better with him on our 53. Now now and not next year.
