Greg Jennings, Julius Peppers get NFC player of the week awards

A pair of NFC North standouts have been honored as the NFC offensive and defensive players of the week.

Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings was named offensive player of the week after his seven-catch, 152-yard, three-touchdown game in the Packers coach-killing win at Minnesota. Jennings broke open what had been a close, low-scoring game with a touchdown in the second quarter that gave Green Bay a 10-3 lead, and his two touchdown catches in the second half put the game away.

There was someone else (may have even been AFC) that had 3 tds and about 115 yards, but that was it so it was really a no-brainer.

He deserved it just for his move on the safety on his 2nd TD!
