The Falcons are 18-1 at home with Matt Ryan at the helm.

And I've said that Matt Ryan is going to be the player of this decade. I think he's that good. I would consider taking him over Aaron Rodgers. In fact, I would pick him over any player in the league if I were building a team for the future.

However, I still think Green Bay is going to win the game. This team is clicking.

Agreed. Matt Ryan has proven to be a good quarterback, there is no doubt to that, but to say that he is going to be the player of the decade and that you'd rather have him than Aaron Rodgers? That makes me cringe a little. I hope I'm not being naive. I just don't feel that way. At all. The home winning record has a lot more to do with the entirety of the team, not just the quarterback.

The Falcons have 3 trying games left: Packers (H), Bucs (A), and Saints (H).
The rest of Philly's schedule will be trying. They have Bears (A), Texans (H), Cowboys (A), Giants (A), Vikings (H), and Cowboys (H).

I think the Falcons have it a lot easier. Every team that Philly plays has the possibility to be a big game. Vikings and Cowboys are both under new coaches (thanks to an asskicking from some team) which will make them very dangerous, as the Cowboys have already displayed. The Bears are not a great team, but they, like the Jets, find ways to win. The Texans have a bad defense which will let up a TON of plays to Philly, but they also have a lot of firepower, which could mean a shootout. Giants......... they're good, as much as I hate that.
I think we're in good position for the rest of the season.

Peyton Manning has better numbers than Tom Brady. Who do you want?

Of course, Aaron Rodgers is special too, but I get that feeling about Ryan. I can't point my finger on what is quite is. A combination of everything I guess. His work ethic is impressive. His accuracy is amazing. He has a strong arm and the moxy/leadership that Favre has.

This is more about a projection than where they are right now.

I would take Sam Bradford over Joe Flacco going forward.

I would take Andrew Luck over quite a few players going forward too.

Regardless, I think Green Bay and Atlanta will square off more than once this season. I also think this is the next Brady/Manning rivalry in the NFL.

Where is the game?

In Lambeau, I'd probably take Atlanta. Warm weather team coming to Green Bay in January. Plus, Vick has beaten Green Bay in the playoffs before under similar circumstances to what we have now. Remember, the Packers beat the Falcons in week one of that year only to lose in the postseason.

On the road, I'd probably take Philadelphia though.

Vick is much better than he was at that phase of his career. And he is also on a better team. Once again: scary.

Here's another vote for Atlanta. No more Michael Vick, please. The Packers would probably be 6-4 if Vick had started that game against them.
