I was surprised to wake up and not see Chilly has been fired yet. I was thinking yesterday we find out he's fired today.

It's official now -- NFL Network reporting, Schefter tweeting, etc.

Childress is out.

William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports is first reported, and the Vikings have confirmed, that Childress has been fired.

Someone rushed to hit the Submit button on that post as quickly as possible.

The Packers didn't get Chilly fired. Favre is doing that on his own. I have said many times since he left GB he was a COACH KILLER. It happend to the Jets and now the Vikes so it's two for two.

When your key player that makes the offense go sits home and doesn't come to practice or attend workout or participate in training camp it better go very right because there is so much there open for critisizm.

For one thing there is a big difference when a player is hurt and can't practice during the week who was there working with the guys all during the offseason. Now you got a guy who isn't practicing much during the week, or, hasn't been and he hardly got any work with these guys all year and you know what? It SHOWS.

I don't feel bad for Chilly, the Vikes, or, Favre. They all got what they asked for.

Peter Brown was saying the same thing on Sporting News Radio last night, only he took it one step farther: He said that Brett Favre killed Mike Sherman, he killed Eric Mangini, and now he was going to kill Brad Childress. I personally think Favre also killed Ray Rhodes, since the reason Rhodes was canned after his first season is at that time, Favre was untouchable and couldn't be held accountable for anything.

Packers impact on NFL so far this year:

-Got wade phillips fired after Jerry said he wouldn't fire him in season
-Got Chilly fired after Wilf said he wouldn't fire him in season
-Handed the starting QB job to Vick after CM3 knocked Kolb out of the game

And like has been mentioned we might put the final nail in Singletarys coffin.
