First off i think most people are over the farve/rodgers saga but i wonder whats worse Conan taking over Lenos job only to have it taken away or Rodgers taking Favre job and everyone dissecting it.

Let me put it this way what if Favre(leno) decided to leave for the jets and then wants to come back to the packers(and they let him) taking rodgers(conan) job away from him.

I feal bad for O'Brien he is stuck on TBS!

Conan lost his job because his ratings were low, and in TV, ratings are everything. So the equivalent would be if Rodgers had played badly after taking over for Favre, and then Favre came back to replace him. It would've been a little weird, but understandable. Thankfully it never came to that.

TBS is a much better place for Conan, anyway. His audience is loyal and knows where to find him, and he can be a little edgier again.

Well, I think the deal was that Leno was doing badly in prime time, compared to the competition, but the Tonight Show's ratings declined quite a bit when Conan took over. He was losing to Letterman, which hadn't happened with Leno. So NBC had two reasons to switch back--to eliminate a prime time show that was bombing and to restore the Tonight Show. Too bad Conan got caught in the middle. I like him, and I can't stand Leno.

I like both Leno and Conan. Conan more so, but Leno is pretty good. Was upset to hear the Favre move by Leno, but was even more upset at how NBC treated Conan. I'm hoping CoCo rips it up on TBS.. I'll miss it.. 😞
