Shocking that nobody has mentioned Star Wars (4-6.....1-3 were not great).

1 would have been a watchable movie if they removed Jar Jar Binks. 2 would have been a watchable movie if they took out that God awful love scene. 3 would have been a watchable movie if they took out that "you're breaking my heart" scene. Still, not good movies.

I liked 4 and especially 5 but they are nowhere near my favorites. 6 would have been good if they took out those walking teddy bears.

Natalie Portman's best movie is still The Professional. Jean Reno was outstanding.

Eh. Just not a big fan of Portman. Except for in Episode II when she gets her clothes half-torn off at the Colosseumesque scene . She was really talented in that part.

Uh oh. You're starting to scare me with how much we overlap. When I first saw that movie, I was thinking "that girl is going to be a superstar some day." Outstanding flick.

I have yet to see Leon, the French version of the film. I heard in that film, they were lovers towards the end. Of course, that won't exactly fly with an American audience so they took out some of the dialog.

Have a fond memory of that film too. Saw it with a good female friend of mine and she cried after the movie and stayed over until around 3:30 that night. Great conversation afterward, like what we discussed in that other thread about the importance of good conversation.

Peteralan - Yeah, I really liked 3. Thought it was definitely the best of the 1-3 trilogy. Too bad they had to have that scene. Really hurt the movie.

My all-time favorite movie is easy

1) Young Guns ( I have a tat because of that movie. The Game is on my arm because in that movie they talk about Life as a game that you can't win) and I am very competitive.

2) very close but has to be #2 is Red Dawn

3) Kiss meets the Phantom of the park.

4) Tombstone I'll be your huckleberry

5) Pick of Destiny with Jack Black I laugh my ass off every time I watch it.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

The wife and I watched Toy Story 3 the other night. It was actually a really good movie. Maybe it's nastalgia, but I doubt it since rottentomatoes has it at something like 98%. Truly good animated movies have something for everybody, and TS3 did.
