Guys - Finley's a pretty good contributor to this forum. I think we should let his grammar slide.

My wife has dyslexia. Her spelling is awful. It's hard for me to read the shopping list and understand what she says.

We all have flaws, folks. Can we please let some of them slide? I love Finley's positive (and often funny) attitude and Finley also contributes a lot of good articles to this forum.

I'm pretty sure that Nerd was too busy complaining about McCarthy on every play to actually see the game.

I ignore most of the spelling and other errors on this site (really, guys, I do). Heck, I find typos in my own posts every single day. The reason why I can't stand this dude's mistakes is that they are not mistakes at all -- but rather deliberate stylistic choices. He's proven in the past that he can write as well as the next man when he wants to, but he chooses instead to look illiterate. Call me elitist, snob, prick, asshole, whatever, I just hate having to decipher deliberately bad writing. And it ruins credibility too.

And seriously, people, every single browser available today has built-in spell check. Don't those squiggly red lines annoy the piss out of you when you're typing?

Whatever. I guess I'm weird. I just prefer to look reasonably intelligent, even when talking bullshit. I prefer to leave the kiddie talk to, you know, the kiddies.
