Great game today. I came in just wanting us to keep it close and our D and special teams dominated.

I predicted that we would beat Miami and Dallas and Lose to the vikings and Jets. Boy was I wrong. I want to at least be correct on beating Dallas though. 🙂

c'mon, crickets in here right now other than a thread complaining about the offense.

Pack just SHUT OUT a SB fav on the ROAD!

Peprah, the O line, Masthay, Hawk, Raji, Tramon...c'mon, so much praise to go around!

Can we now officially say our D is elite?

I predicted one shutout this season by our D. I predicted two last year and I was half right.

I'm actually surprised we'd get our shutout against the Jets. I was expecting it against the Bills.

Yes are defense are elite. :)

But I was right about the vikings Defense not being elite hehe.

All I know is that we one this game today because Dirty Sanchez licks ass.

The Jets left a lot of makeable plays out on that field. I was impressed with our run defense. Howard helped tremendously.

"bozz_2006" wrote:

Neither did I. He did a good job keeping plays alive, and most of his throws were on target. His guys just weren't getting open consistently. The two interceptions were more the fault of his receivers than him. Sanchez is not a great QB, but he is a good ball control type QB for a defensive team like the Jets, and he did his job. The Packers just outplayed the Jets today in every phase of the game. The score perfectly reflects the kind of game it was.

What a huge win, going on the road to beat one of the very best teams in the league. The Packers may have crept back into the Super Bowl conversation.

I suspect the Packer defense had a little extra motivation today, thinking about how Rex Ryan trash talked them last year when Woodson won defensive player of the year. This makes the goose egg especially sweet.

Yup. I guess the next test is playing Belichick.
