As likely the most vocal AJ critic here, I'll change my tune on him when he makes that tackle in the backfield. The interception was good, yet it was thrown right to him. It's great that he caught it, but it wasn't like it was due to some athletic feat on his part.

When AJ starts stopping ball carriers at the point of contact, I'll become his fan.

He's on pace for career highs for Tackles and Passes Defensed. He's already matched his career high for INTs.

I don't get all the Hawk hate here. He's a pretty good LB, one of those people we'd miss if he was gone.

I'll help you understand, maybe. He was drafted 5th overall, so if he's not Ray Lewis, he's a waste of a pick. Some people are somehow that short sighted.

He's not great, he's not terrible. He bounces around in the middle I think. Sometimes he shows up, sometimes ... Hawk who?

AJ Hawk has 60 total tackles in 7 games. I don't have time to compare his stats to the rest of the NFC MLBs, but that's pretty freaking impressive.

He already has 2 INTs. Sure, one of them was just being in the right place at the right time but he caught it, and that's what counts.

Hawk is finally starting to live up to his #5 draft position. Kudos. I hope he keeps this pace. It's been a heck of a year for him so far.

Also, thank you Go.Pack.Go. Yes, those 2 straight tackles for a loss against the Dolphins were nice. So it's not like he doesn't get in the backfield. He does.
