Well, when you have the media, the "fans", and guys who live in their Mom's basement who washed out of the police academy, and are forced to bounce at Happyland at McDonald's, just waiting to pounce and tear the guy to shreds over anything and everything in their blogs and podcasts, I think you'd be a little down about it too.

Oh, and there's also the fools who claim he's "pouting" too..

Ted Thompson will be fired from the Packers soon, and good riddence.

The guy plainly sucks, and he's made the wrong decision. AROD in my opinion is a mediocre player at best, and he will never win the big one. Neither will Ted.

When they are out of GB, I will be then be a committed Packer fan once again. Because I can't get over the "arrogance" of Ted Thompson who put his ego over the franchise by going with Rodgers...

Spin it any way you want, but this is the truth as many Packer fans see it.

Roddy's become our local comedian. I can see him living in his mom's basement with voodoo dolls of anyone who disses Brett. For the record Roddy I love Brett so don't hunt me down

Nah, I think pac err roddy just loves him some Brett. Nothing wrong with that. I do disagree that because he likes Brett he feels he has to hate Ted and Rodgers and so on because he feels Brett hates them. That's far from the truth and anyone who is a fan of Favre would know this.

Last Wednesday my wife's friend at work died. My wife and i went to the memorial till 12:30pm today. My wife had volunteered to work overtime today. The shift was allowed off till 1pm to go to the service. She gets into work and is told that because she's not a regular member of this shift she wasn't included, and is getting an occurance for it. My wife works her ass off for this company, and this is how she is treated.
What does this have to do with Favre? Well.......my wife doesn't make millions of dollars, has to put up with bullsh** every day at her job, and I could come in here and piss and moan EVERY DAY about how she's treated. But she doesn't have a choice.
Favre gets paid MORE then enough to have to put up with a little BS.
Am i supposed to feel real sorry for him?
I bet EVERYONE here has had trouble with employers in their lives, but had NO choice but to "man up" and put up with it......for a LOT less compensation then Brett Favre gets. It's hard for me to cry too much when the guy makes more in a year then i and my wife would make in our lifetimes.

live by the media, "die" by the media. do i mean that literally? no. but you get my jist. HE is the one who reached out to the media when the whole fiasco started. he wasn't FORCED to do it - it was his choice.

dang it - i said i wasn't gonna get involved in this so this is my final post in this section. EVERY time i feel like i'm past the whole favre issue & almost ready to "let it go", i read posts like this & poof - i'm dinked off all over again! the more people try to make me feel "sorry" for him, the less i do. šŸ˜ž šŸ˜ž šŸ˜ž

You said it Packgirl, if you dont want to get involved in this so called fiasco then dont read it. Saying it the nicest way that I could. šŸ™‚

I didnt post this so people would feel sorry for him, I posted it because when the media does get involved it effects more then Favre, it effects his whole family especially when its not true. I dont care how many millions of dollars this man makes, I just know how I would feel if this was done to me and I dont make millions. When people treat others unfairly its just not right. Some jump to conclusions before the actual truth comes out.

I am so sorry Cheesy that this had to happen to your wife, your right it happens everywhere at my job as well. We dont make millions, but remember money doesnt make one happy its who you are with and love that really matters as long as your healthy thats all that counts. Just because Favre makes millions doesnt mean he is less human then we are. Yes he has a much more simpler life then we do, no worries about money and how to pay bills, but he still has a heart and bad things happen to him and his family just like it happens to us.

I think the lesson here is to just concentrate on Jets football and stop talking to anyone that is involved with another team until the season is over. I don't care if they are your friend. If they are your friend they should understand. As Deanna said.... who will be there when football is over? Family. Talking to others in football not on your team has only hurt Brett and his family so why do it?

Learn from your mistakes.

Yup Favre has got to stay away from the media altogether. If he doesn't have one, he needs to hire a publicist and PR specialist. They would tell him what to do and what not to do.
