I can't believe we pulled this off without Jenkins tonight. Big Kudos to Wynn and Wilson. Had Aaron not had 2 red zone picks, this might have been a blowout.

Big win for the Pukers, no doubt.

Had Brett not had 3 INTs, this game WOULD have been a blowout.

"Formo" wrote:

He probably should have had 2 more. I agree with you though Formo, with all of our day 1 starters already done for the year, the Vikings should of made minced meat of us. Now ask yourself, WTF is wrong with your team and please let us enjoy ourselves.

"DakotaT" wrote:

All? Really?

You fail to acknowledge that the Vikings, too, have more than a few starters out tonight.

But, I digress. Was a -=gag=- good, close game that ya'll won. Now I have to deal with your colors on this site for 4 weeks.

It's not like this one was overly huge from a beating a "good" team aspect... The Vikings have 2 wins... in week 7, put a little pressure on the QB and he folds up and throws picks, the DB's are nothing special, the D line can't get to the quarterback and that O Line can only hold and grab facemasks to be successful as they did tonight. The Vikings are bad, no amount of pride from their fans can help... 2 wins... 2

After all the negativity that's been going on the past few weeks, it's amazing that we're still in such a great position. Tied for first, Vikes are in Lions territory and we're still 1-1.5 games from the top of the NFC.

Hell yeah it is.

At least it's relevant to the team's theme. And unique. =)

It's awesome how we can even turn a thread like this into a fight.

But really, if we didn't post anything negative, this would become one boring forum for the next 12 hours.

I don't savour wins as much as I despise losses.

It's time to figure out what's wrong and look at the upcoming week.

Nice thought. Brilliant wish..... But Fat Fucking Chance.

Some people will not be able to make it 24 hours. They might make it through an 8 hour sleep, but as soon as they wake in the morning, look at themselves in the bathroom mirror, they are going to sprint to the puter, log on and start bitching.

Perhaps we should take away their bathroom mirrors. I think that is the main challenge.

That was funny.

An enjoyable win fo shizzle. Our O finally looked like it's supposed to look.

What really impressed me though was Chad Clifton. He owned Jared Allen. Jared Allen didn't get anywhere near Aaron. Allen might have well just pushed a mountain. Would have been the same result.

A lot of players played well for the Packers yesterday. My nominee for the game ball though would be Chad Clifton.

James Jones came up big last night. He had a beautiful fingertip catch on a great throw by Rodgers, and showed some speed on another catch and run.

Also, props to all of our downfield blockers for maintaining their blocks and letting those short passes and screens do some serious damage.

Kudos to all the coaches and the team. Winning this game with the number of players we have out is a major accomplishment.

Is it? The Vikings are a team with a losing record and a number of starters out. The Packers should have won this game.

In light of this GREAT win, can we avoid anything negative about the team or the team's performance or Mike McCarthy for 12 hours?

Bears lost, we won, Vikings lost, we're tied for the division lead, the Saints suck, the Cowboys suck.

Even with the start we've have this season, this is AWESOME.

I was really proud of the team for gutting that out, lets keep it positive for just 12 hours, then let's say it wasn't a "perfect" win? It's a celebration bitches.

I just watched the game at a bar with 2 Bears fans and a Vikings fan. I'm on high!

Well, I gave MM credit last night at the half, but no, avoiding the negative is for an ostrich to do. He did well last night, but still no confidence in him on my part. I was around during the 70's and 80's, so I know how dangerous confidence in a game here and there is. NEVER accept mediocity.

Awesome.

Anyway, beating a very capable Vikings team* with your JV defensive line in the game isn't mediocrity - it's really a pretty neat trick. Capers called a great game. McCarthy did his job. They won.
