On further consideration, I wouldn't call this pop. It does sound "ethnic", though I'd have to defer to others as to whether it's Finnish, having little clue what "Finnish music" sounds like.
My first reaction -- it was something mixing scandinavian polka and the sound from "The Third Man".
This isn't meant as a put down, Finn. Only to highlight that I can't really put into words how it has a "foreign" sound to it. Which, I suppose, would make sense, if something is truly Finnish, wouldn't it?
Which leads to a really interesting question. What does it mean to be Finnish? And what distinguishes Finnish from non-Finnish music?
