Everyone on this board pleads for Ted Thompson to sign someone when a player gets hurt or isn't good enough. But now that he has brought in someone who is familiar with what we do, and is healthy and ready to play, you grill him for it.

Good trade, hopefully it only costs us a 5-7 round pick.

i liked Smith when he was here, his only knock was his attitude if i recall.

If we could've had Lynch for a 4th, then Smith should be worth "past considerations."

Like the move, if Bigby isn't ready anytime soon then Smith is at least a capable starter, if Bigby is ready, it gives us good depth.
