The Dolphins are not that bad of a team. Give them credit instead of simply bashing the team you claim to root for.

Yes, because a team that is 3-0 on the road, and 3-2 overall clearly blows. [/sarcasm]

I'm not mad, nor sad. I didn't think we'd win and don't think we will next week either. It's easier to handle a loss when it's expected. The earlier loss against the Bears, looking back, that one bothers me more than this one.

I agree 100%. The past 7 days since Finley went down have been a big transition. I used to have high expectations, and now I just anticipate a loss while hoping for the best.

To some extent I fault Ted/Mike for the awful play at tackle, and for not having the depth or willingness to bring in a Lynch or other RB...but even then, is it worth upgrading from a 25hp motor on your musky boat to a 50hp when it already leaks? The Zombos, CJ Wilsons, Quarless, and Shields were meant to be special teams long term projects, not starters 1 year out of college!

what pisses me off is the stick the course attitude. The injuries are an excuse but I have seen no change in our gameplan. Where are the obvious adjustments to compensate for the loss of players on offense? I did not see it. To be honest I don't know whether to blame MM or AR but someone is delusional for all the long plays down the field. I know it worked once today with Jennings. But how many 3 and outs did the same philosophy cost us?

dyeah_gb. It's hard to pinpoint where the blame lies, esp. since Rodgers is able to audible at the line, you don't know if wrs are running accurate routes, etc. but there is no doubt that the offense is underperforming.

Next three games - Vikes, @ Jets, Cowboys.

I'm thinking 1-2 out of those, 4-5 going into the bye. Hopefully by then, some guys will come back and the ship will right itself.

But, I'm not holding my breath. This season just seems star-crossed, for whatever reason.

Teams know we have no running game and no offensive line. They pretty much cover up the underneath stuff and beg us to look down field. Either we need to run better more consistently or protect better. I see neither happening. I don't know what the answer is on offense.

There were only two plays today where I was disgusted with McCarthy.

3rd and 2 and 3rd and 3.

The formation was shotgun and nobody in the backfield but Aaron Rodgers. There wasn't even a hint of a possible run. It was the Packers showing their cards. They didn't convert either.

Those have to stop. I don't get and I never will. The defensive can just tee off on the QB when they see that formation. It's ridiculous.

he obviously didn't know the 2010 rule changes for lining up over the center on a punt.

"Johnson" wrote:

It is not against the rules to line up over the center if the player is at least 1-1/2 yards off the line of scrimmage. According to Wayne Larrivee, the Packers have protested this ruling to the league, arguing that Francois was well beyond the 1-1/2 yard mark. I'm not sure what it will accomplish, since even if the league acknowledges the mistake, they won't award the Packers a win, but whatever.
