How about Matthews, Pickett, and Martin?

When you say Martin I assume you mixed up Donald Lee with Donald Martin, correct? Or did Derrick Martin sustain an injury as well?

Martin also got a knee injury towards the end of the game, I believe on a punt. He crawled off the field by the announcers missed it.

*David Martin.

But there is no word yet on Derrick Martin huh? So lets recount this. Players injured (not all out for the season, obviously) include: Matthews, Martin, Finley, Rodgers (if he does indeed have a concussion), Grant, Bigby, Harris, Barnett, Burnett, Pickett, Chillar, Lee, Tauscher, and Shields..... I am probably missing some. Now people have made comparisons to '96 many times with the amount of injuries that we have right now, but was it really this bad? I try to stay positive, because God knows that all my douchebag vikings-fan friends will tear me apart for the rest of the season (regardless of how much the injuries have affected us). If I never believed in negative karma, I sure as hell do now. Everybody talking about how we're going to go to the SB. Always made me nervous. And now we're all injured.
Now, I will put the gun away and settle down. I think that our defense as a whole deserves player of the game for the Packers. They did very well considering how many back-ups were in. Most everybody that came in stepped up. Hawk (if you want to consider him a back-up, some may) made a ton of tackles, as did Bishop and Peprah. I think these guys all stepped up immensely. I'm not looking forward to talking to people about it tomorrow, but hey, it's football, and if we have learned anything this year (all across the league), it's that nothing is ever a sure bet.

People can compare to the 96 team all they want, but that team blew other teams out.

Yeah... I feel like a doctor just told me I have cancer haha. That is something that is blatantly obvious, but nobody wants to say it. We can SAY that the '96 team overcame it, but we sure as hell have not done anything yet to add to the shared criteria between those two teams.

There wasn't anywhere near the parity back then as there is now either, but that's just supporting your comment, not disagreeing.

The '07 Patriots just don't come around that often as some think they should.
