This is the most pathetic I have ever seen these guys... McCarthy and his play calling were awful, the refs were terrible and we just can't survive having 8 of our 22 starters out... not to mention that offensive line is in the bottom 5 of the league right now, it isnt helped at all by the fact that everyone knows we arent running the ball ever... jesus christ I am fed up with this team and really, I know it's an awful excuse but the refs always seem just looking for a way to put it in our butts

This has been going on for years. The Pat Lee opening kickoff is classic. So is the subsequent turnover. I don't know what it is, but MM just doesn't seem to have his guys ready. They not only start games ugly, but they start seasons ugly too.
It's not on the injuries. The defense played well enough to win easily. This is entirely on the offense.

They played well enough when Matthews was in, as soon as he left they couldnt stop anyone.. It was just sad, you can't lose to teams like the Redskins. At least we don't have to have those Super Bowl expectations anymore, hell, we don't even need playoff expectations right now. Let's go get Bill Cowher 🙂

I'm... not sure if you are serious about running.

We are a passing team. Aaron is our best playmaker. We have outstanding depth. We ran well enough today, although in the redzone you need to put the ball in Rodgers hands more. Especially in goal-line situations.

I doubt any team can overcome this many injuries to their starters for a full season, but that is not why we lost today.

Our execution on offense was pathetic. We absolutely cannot finish drives with points. Pathetic.

The worst part is they needed to own this part of the schedule because pretty soon it all goes downhill and don't for one second even be happy or stick up for this team, once we hit that rough patch this team is screwed. If we can't beat teams like Washington we certainly can't touch our second half of the schedule

Good stuff guys, but I have to disagree that this was in anyway the refs doing for us to lose. Aaron Rodgers played bad but that was a lot to do with our line. Still, Aaron did not make plays when we needed him to, and that is on him.

Some will argue that Aaron didn't make plays because of our play calling. I will have to agree with that though. The Skins consistently blitzed us giving little time for deep routes to get open. McCarthy should have adapted and called plays with closer routes, but hey we can point fingers all day. But overall our offense was HORRIBLE against a bad defense, this year is beginning to look bleak.

There are four components to this team the Packers cannot lose.

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Charles Woodson
3. Clay Matthews
4. Everybody else

The Packers loss No. 3 and No. 4 today. I know I said in the box that every team goes through this, but this isn't the injury bug. This is the plague. My god, they're just dropping like flies.

I'm absolutely serious about running... every team is going to bring the heat when they know we cannot/will not run the football. Not even the best O-Lines can stand up to that kind of stuff and especially not our rag tag line. Why do you think Rodgers is ducking, diving and throwing balls to the other team off his back foot all game?
