I wonder if there are any teams in the NFL with so many 1st and 2nd string players out from injury. This is ridiculous.

Injuries suck! In some ways I'd rather be 1-3 with all the starters, than 3-1 with all the ongoing injuries.

This is what happens when your defense can't get off the field.

How does this relate? Chillar may need surgery because the defense wasn't able to get off the field in a game Chillar didn't play?

It just doesn't seem like this is our year, injuries, breakdowns, and penalties. Either that or we're getting all our bad luck out ot the way now and we'll be awsome the last part of the year.

Some would argue 1996 was even worse. It wasn't all perfect then. Robert Brooks, Antonio Freeman and Chewy all missed time. I'm sure I'm overlooking others. The LT was a problem until Bruce Wilkerson solved it.

My point is that every team deals with adversary. Right now, this is the current Packers' test.

yes sir exactly like my post in the other forum I said every team has some problems early. But if your a good team you can overcome adversity and fix things middle to late into the season.

A lot of teams are going through similar injury woes -- don't forget that. Some teams have been hit harder than we have. It hurts to lose guys like Burnett and possibly Chillar. At the same time we have guys like Bigby, Harris, and Starks coming back (less mystery about Bigby and Harris' contribution than Starks).

This is part of the normal ebb and flow of a season. Sorry if I'm Captain Obvious here.

I think Bigby and Harris' eventual return will be extremely beneficial, assuming they are physically up to snuff. Bigby's only real issues have been his availability. On Sunday's he's easily above-average. Heck, we can't have Pro Bowl talent at every position. In terms of his tackling and playmaking ability, the proof is in the puddin'. Remember how much more solid the D got last year upon his return? Harris provides depth to a relatively thin position. Considering how well Williams has played this year, it's exciting to think we'll add a legit starter-quality player. This is, of course, all contingent upon's Harris and Bigby's health.
William Henderson didn't have to run people over. His preferred method was levitation.

Atari Bigby will not finish the season. He has not had any work since the playoff loss in January. He'll be injured within three or four games. Do not make the mistake of counting on him. Hell, Starks has a better chance of succeeding that Atari.
