Tennessee has an outstanding defense and a terrific run game. This will surely be a huge challenge for us. That being said, with the way our corners are playing, I'm confident we can sell out to stop the run and dare Kerry Collins and their sub-par WR corps to try to beat us. We also need to come out fast and get up to an early lead, because they're certainly not built to play from behind.

I think we have a good shot, but it'll be a close one.

oddly enough neither is Indy. Getting up early on either team is crucial. force your will and be more physical and we got this one.

Beg to differ. Indy may play better from behind than any team in the league. They just couldn't get it done on Sunday...

ewww. they thrive on jumping out early on teams. Get an early lead and be very physical with the Colts. Thats been the game plan to beat the Colts since Peyton and Dungy have been there.

and it wasn't just Sunday either. Very few teams have beaten the Colts the past few years... but the Pats have owned them and thats exactly how they did it. Scoring first and then grinding it out on them to keep the offense off the field.

No doubt they can score points, and even when behind. but if you get an early lead and grind on them the offense doesnt see the field. Its the same type of game plan we need for the Titans was my point.

Forget the past years for a moment -- 2 of their 3 wins THIS season were HUGE come from behind wins. Just sayin'.

I'm going to wait on an analysis, nuts and bolts-wise. I will comment on one thing, though. I hope the Titans kick the living crap out of Indy, only to fall to us, in their house, heretofore undefeated. I can feel the power of cheese just typing of such a scenario. More that a few fans from our rival teams will be doing an olympic-class prognostication back-stroke. Some of them that are even now proclaiming that they "get" to play the Packers will be editing their posts by getting rid of an "e" and inserting an "o" into that "get"...

I think that's the problem though. I really don't see the Packers lines being more physical than the Titans lines.

The Packers weakness right now is their lines. Yes they looked good last week but the Colts don't have physical lineman more like speedy linemen quick lineman.

The Titans have power lineman whihc are the ones the Packers have been having trouble with.

But then again in the preseason game where the Titans had their starters and the Packers used back-ups the Packers did ever well on the DL against the Titans mostly starting OL (I think on or two Titans starting OL didn't play) The Packers back-up OTs looked horrible against the Titans starting DEs, but that was the back-ups.

I'm not sure what to think.

But I think the Packers bye week and Titans Monday night game is with out a doubt going to help so I say PACKERS WIN!!! PACKERS WIN!!!

Hopefully we use our own 2bacl set againt Tennessee. Jus run that down down their throat with Grant and Jackson, and when we're not doing that.. throw bombs to Jennings,Driver, and Nelson. I think if we do that, we'll be fine. Although I am skeptical.

We can beat anybody! We just can't give up. This year is all about the passion of winning and having the guts and determination to not give up on any given Sunday (or Monday) in a league full of parity.

I think we have a great shot, and here's why (sorry if this has been previously mentioned):

1. Titans coming off a short week. They play Indy at MNF.

2. Indianapolis is going to try and pound out the Titans and get a win to restore their season. I doubt they're going to roll over, because beating the Titans will show everyone that they still have 'it'.

3. We have the time to watch footage, not just the Colts v Titans game but the previous ones too.

4. Packers get much needed rest, which will hopefully sharpen their focus. Should be physically fresh and roll some momentum going forward.
