Heh. I was thinking of starting a new thread because I'm supposed to be Drivers' reporter this year but I think I'll just bump this thread every week as Dio + Driver = double awesomeness
Driver's game was exactly what we wanted from him. He got his TD. He fought hard for first downs. He didn't get anything deeper as if I remember correctly, Jennings had one deeper route, Jones had 3 or 4, and Finley had one, but Driver didn't have any.
Nothing against any other WR, but Rodgers spreads the ball around. Rodgers did a fine job of doing that as it drives opposing Ds nuts. You simply CANNOT focus on one WR and stop him if you're playing the Packers. You can't do it. Aaron will just find another WR.
So no hot stats against the Bills, but Driver did what he needed to do and got an A performance from yours truly for it. Two key catches - the TD catch and the 3 yards of YAC where he had to drag the tackler along to get the first down. That's Driver. Heart.
