The Green Bay Packers have signed CB Josh Gordy to the practice squad and released LB Robert Francois from the practice squad. The transactions were announced Wednesday by Executive Vice President, General Manager and Director of Football Operations Ted Thompson.

Gordy, a 5-foot-11, 195-pound rookie, was signed by Jacksonville in May as a non-drafted free agent and spent most of the preseason with the Jaguars. Gordy attended Central Michigan, where he was a second-team All-Mid-American Conference selection as a senior when he led the Chippewas with three interceptions. He will wear No. 27.

I didnt like thast LBer much anyways - better we have someone of need on the ps then someone whom didnt look that good in preseason. ya I know he picked up a fumble ...

Looks like he has decent footwork and does a good job swinging his hips around. I liked the play at 4:30, shed the blocker and blow up the wide receiver screen.
