Is that even possible? If a team wants to take another team's practice squad player on their own practice squad, I think they must first sign him to their 53-man roster, waive him, and then wait for him to clear waivers before placing him on their practice squad.

I was a bit vague. A player can have 2 or 3 teams offer to place them on their PS. The player then gets to chose where he wants to go.
What I was saying is that GB prob never even made him an offer for their PS since he would most likely have wanted to stay with a team that he was familar with.

A couple of years ago GB lost a few guys to other teams PS because the players felt they had a better shot of moving up to the 53 man roster with the other team. (I think at least one of them was a WR.)

He looked really slow in the AZ state 57 yard TD video...and that was vs. washington!

You're typically not going to find Adrian Peterson on waivers, but that disclaimer aside, he just seems heavy, slow, and like another fullback - which the team already has 3 of!

As others have said, T. T. found a 1200 yard back this way, so I'll trust his judgement.

Well that's when he was in college but anyways... I won't judge this kid until I see him play in a game.

On a side note what will his role in are offense obviously he will be the second RB on are Depth chart.

Bjax I think can play 3 downs so im not to worried about that.He may be on a couple 3rd down's or replace Jackson when he's tired.Honestly idk what his role will be only time will tell.

i think (and i'm glad to see it on this forum at least) we all know damn well that at this point in time Ted Thompson undoubtedly deserves the benefit of the doubt in any case.

he's not always going to be right, but he sure has earned my trust.

I agree with Twinkiegorilla.

40-yard dash: 4.60

Honestly 40 Yrd Dash Means nothing to me.It can say how fast you can be but it doesn't say how fast you are on the field look at Joe Haden he had a shit 40 yrd dash and he plays fast on the field.

all that you said, plus if you had to pick 1 starting postion on this squad that you could most afford to lose, I think RB would be very high on the list. The broncos showed that with an effective ZBS, you can plug and chug virtually any joe blow and get a 1000 yard back.

Obviously this is an oversimplification, but I think the team can withstand this blow, and hopefully I'm not proven wrong!
