Or let's hope our pass rush is so severe that it's irrelevant.

I'd rather Harris take 6 weeks off and come back 100% than we rush his return and ruin what's left of his career.

I think we know how to blitz. The problem is getting pressure without blitzing.

If we use the blitz every time, our secondary will get torched.

Needless to say lacking Harris will have an effect on our secondary. We all saw our pass coverage deteriorate as injuries came into play last season. It pains me to say this, but I don't have full faith in our alternatives at CB. With that said- if our line can be productive there is a chance that we can still be successful in our pass coverage.

I wish Al the best, and hope he can be ready to play soon. My worry is that he may try to play before he is ready, and we don't want to see him sidelined again.

I hope they take the decision out of Al's hands.. PUP him and let him get totally right.

The bonus there is it will force these young kids to step up or be buried.. like it or not.. we need these kids (combination of Blackmon, Lee, Underwood, Bush, Preprah) to step into the stripes and mature rapidly.. with Al on the field or not..

IMO, find out early if they can and if not.. start looking outside for help.. if the Cards game taught us anything.. we need to be at least 4 deep at CB.. four guys that know what they are doing on the field.. not the Chinese fire drills we seen in January.

I agree, let us sort through the youth and see if there's any real NFL talent in the first 6 games. When Harris comes back it can be a big boost, or we can ease him in at dime for the beginning if one of younger guys really steps up.
