Lee is 30 and has had declining production for the last 3 years. He also has a pretty big paycheck. The logic of keeping him because he is a good blocker is fading because of Crabtree and Havner.
Lee's drops were excessive last year.

Yes, I meant that his peak was 3 years ago and has been declining since. I just put it together in my head wrong.
He did still drop almost 15% of his passes last year, highest among TEs with 30 or more passes. That may also have something to do with the emergence of Fin. Rodgers loss of confidence in Lee's hands.
