As the good folks over at Cold Hard Football Facts have shown, the most important thing a quarterback can do is not throwing touchdowns (sorry, Zombieslayer) but rather not throwing interceptions. The avoidance of turnovers is far more a predictor of success than the throwing of touchdowns.

Regular season, the most important thing is amassing points whereas you're better off being risky and throwing a few INTs where you were gunning for the big play. Regular season QBs who throw lots of TDs get their teams into the Playoffs.

Now, in the Playoffs, that changes. Throwing INTs can easily get you knocked out of the Playoffs as we've seen historically.

ARod hates to throw picks? Well, that is something that it looks like we are having to worry about less and less. He is becoming a dominant force in the NFL, and from his thirst for knowledge (just like Peyton Manning in the video room), he won't be slowing up any time soon.

This is why we don't have to worry about ARod throwing excessive picks this season.....

With that said, we know he doesn't like throwing interceptions and it shows. His turnover stats last season are damn good (especially when we had the OL issues plaguing us). You simply cannot ask for more in a QB.

I've heard Jay Cutlers loves throwing them and might be addicted to them
and Brett Favre likes them but saves them playoffs so they'll remember longer.
When will Rodgers ever grow up and start throwing them like the ol' gunslinger?
