I've never once said the Vikings choked in that game. I have however said Favre choked, and i will continue to over and over until he retires for good. 🙂

Yeah, I agree with what others said. That's just what we football fans too. I still think the Vikings are a better team all the way around, but that doesn't mean they are excused from some hazing for losing a game they could have won due to a bunch of silly turnovers. It was a "choke" in my opinion. Call it beating yourself if you'd like, but it's pretty much the same thing to me. The Saints played a hell of a game, but 2-3 fewer turnovers that were somewhat preventable, and they win.

I'm gonna go find a Vikings fan right now and talk some smack. Hopefully they do it right back about our "weak" O-line and our secondary being torched by Favre!

I can admit this and it doesn't bother me at all. I enjoy watching the Vikings lose as much as watching the Packers win. When they lose like they did in the 1998 and 2009 NFC championship games, it gives me feelings of euphoria.

The reason for this disturbed behavior is that the majority of Viking fans are bandwagon wishy washy fucksticks who talk shit and don't even understand the game.

I see what you're saying iron, but I view this as a component of a larger picture.

Vikings fans and their team are in fact a bunch of 'fucksticks' who have a history of blowing golden opportunities (4sb, '98, '09, 41-0 loss to Giants in playoffs), so I proudly admit my 'shadenfreude' anytime another chapter of ineptitude is added to the viking's history book!

Musccy nailed it. I think having lived in Viking territory my entire life has added to it. I take great pleasure in their misfortunes. The only thing that really irks me is when opposing fans celebrate an injury. One of my proudest moments as a Packer fan was in Voldemort's last season with our team and we were playing Minnesota at Lambeau. Peterson went down with a leg injury. He was on the turf for a while and it was very intense. When he got up and walked off the field, 70,000 fans cheered their asses off for him. Packer fans are classy fans. Packer fans are football fans.

Holy Shit.....musccy is back! Where you been, man?

As to the Queens....after sex and Green Bay victories, nothing provides as much pleasure as watching the Queens lose. I live in the Twin Shitties, and this team and its fans...if you can call this bunch of bandwagoners fans.....are damn near intolerable.

Example: The last few years, they almost had to black out the home opener because the games were not sold out. The local network carrying the game, fearing loss of ad revenue, had to buy the remaining tickets up to get the game aired. Hell, man....this was the home opener...before the team even had a chance to suck or embarrass themselves with historically persistent bad off-field behavior!!

Worthless, fickle, unknowledgeable fans and a historically dysfunctional team....what is not to hate?

I actually agree with IronMan.

There is a part of dealing with Viking fans that will always be "nanner nanner nanner" -- until they win a Super Bowl.

But the fact of the matter is that they beat us twice last year. And not just beat us, but beat us fairly soundly.

Yes, they lost the game to the Saints, and that's cool. And worth a bit of ribbing. Oh, ok, more than a bit. :)

But to say they choked is a bit lame. A boneheaded play by one player on the final drive is not a team "choking".

In the end, it's head to head that should matter most in a rivalry. And head-to-head, much as I hate the idea, the viking fans have (temporary) bragging rights.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Tezzy....love the T-shirt on your photo!! Yes, they do have some hot cheerleaders. Still does not make up for all the stupid shit that occurs both on and off the field with this bunch....and in the stands amongst their "fans".

But those same fans turned around and booed a so called Packer legend on his return.

I was cheering for the Vikings to win it all, for one it would have been the end for Favre and 2 it would have meant one of our divisional teams one. If we can't win I perfer someone from our division does
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)
