How did he look to you?
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

He had a pretty good push, but the part that really stuck out to me was that he was always quick to get his hands up on a pass. That's what Jolly was great at last year. Hopefully Harrell fills that role.

Honestly, I didn't notice him much, but as far as I could tell he held his position and generated some push at times. I'm more interested in Neal at this point, but Harrell could possibly earn a spot in the rotation.

looked like he is #5 on depth chart and if johnnie jolly was on team he'd be getting cut.

He had a very nice push on one play, otherwise he was just...there(which is 99% of the battle with that guy so good for him).

point out not a FA was a #1 draft pick

I think he knows that, but is saying since we didn't sign a big Free Agent and since we didn't really get anything from him his first few years that him producing THIS year would be LIKE a big Free Agent signing.

didnt see him play yet - just happy if the dude remains healsthy and plays 1/2 way decent that we have options. That Dline is so important in a 3-4

Im a bit anxious to see how jenkins would do at ROLB ... is matthews really going to start at left from now on? hope he still remains top form even on the opposite side.

Jenkins isn't being moved to OLB? that would be insane. I can see on some set plays but with no consistency.

Harrell looked good. Not an all-star or a pro bowler, but he looked good. Looked like he belonged out there. He may not replace Johnny Jolly but he should make a good rotational player.

If he starts "decent" I can see him picking up as the season goes along. Because he has been out for so long. Barring injury of course.

I would be surprised if he made it all the way. But not disappointed.

Its hard for me to say anyone on our D looked good in that game. Maybe Poppinga and Collins.

Harrell looked like he held his ground, which is what he's supposed to do.

I watched the game: Harrell looked decent; IMO good enough to be on our team; but of course would like to see more play.

JSOnline practice notes

One day after DE Justin Harrell talked about how his back was holding up, he didn't practice this morning because "his back tightened up" according to coach Mike McCarthy. Is McCarthy worried? "Its training camp. It happens. He is coming off an injury. Well see how he feels tonight."
