After a 56 and 58 yeard return...it is a no brainer that we need this kid to run back kicks and punts...he did return 2 for tds last year...over 80 and 90 yards...he has a great accellorator gear that leaves guys grasping and he follows blocks well. Jordy Nelson...No. 87 my sleeper for the year.

I see no reason not to believe you. The kid will get the ball this season. That we can be sure of.

I think the fact that he will not be relied upon in the passing game certainly points to him taking over some return duties

I think i'de like to see blackmon returning punts, imo he's very reliable(when he's not hurt), and returning punts is a different beast than kickoffs, you want someone back there with a little more experience. Not that i dont think nelson would be capable, just that blackmon would be the safer bet, and he's pretty damn good at it as well.

I'm thinking Blackmon for punts, and either Blackmon or Nelson for kickoffs. It's unusual for a player as big as Nelson to be a good return man, because they can't slip through the narrow gaps and make guys miss. They also don't have the abliity to change direction as well as smaller guys. But Nelson has looked so good on kickoffs that he should get consideration. A kickoff gives him a lot more time to build up a head of steam, so that his large size is less of a disadvantage than on punts.
