"Also a guy I would love to play with *laughs*"

I've watched Shawn Springs for a long time, and I like the way he plays. I know that he's old now, but he's more than an adequate backup and he would provide even more veteran leadership whether or not Al Harris can return with his unrealistic timetable.

Catch what he says later starting at about 2:40 on the video. "In blitz happy schemes like Dom Capers the CB's don't have to cover as long."

That is his reasoning why he likes Revis and Woodson.

Now days you have to also look at informal teams - the agent or agency. Is he promoting guys who belong to his agent and downgrading guys at a rival agency.

There is more to this stuff than meets the eye.

I agree with that list....

And LOL, he said "Houston Oilers" and didn't even realize he was wrong.

I agree with that list. Asamguah is the most underrated player in the NFL. Sad things a lot of people don't even know about him. He doesn't have big numbers but I realized why when I saw the stats on passes he defended. Teams have just quit throwing his way completely and that's the ultimate compliment. I saw how many balls came his way the last 2 years and forgot what it was but I know I rechecked because I couldn't believe it was right

What would you trade for Asomugha? I would trade a #1,#3 and any of our young CBs.
Why is Jerry Kramer not in the Hall of Fame?

Woodson isn't the best CB in the league, but he is the best overall DB in the league.

Not trying to be argumentative, but how can you be the best DB in the league and not be the best CB. CBs are DBs. Are you saying he is not the best coverage back in the league but he is the best overall DB in the league?

Yes, if we're just talking coverage corners, there are a couple guys (Revis, Asomugha) that are better. But if we're talking coverage, playing the run, top-level-saftely-like ball hawking ability to create turnovers(not juts INTS but also FF) blitzing, all of that stuff. There isn't a better all-around DB in football than Woodson. Ed Reed is the guy i would compare him with here actually, not revis or anyone else.

Its the same arguement as last year, if the DPOY award was really the "cornerback of the year" award Revis would have won it hands down, however Chuck Wood is one of the most complete defensive players in all of football.
