Isn't a football player having another football player's picture considered gay, or stalking?

I like our 4 wide formation against the Vikings. They don't have one good D-back yet alone 4. I guess Winfield is a good tackler though. That leaves us 5 on four blocking, with the running back to chip block Mr. head case. That defense is tailor made for us to torch. Slow linebackers playing in a cover 2 with d-backs and safeties that can't match up to our wide receivers.

It's going to be tough to sack him 5 times when nearly every pass will be a 3 step or 5 step drop back. With this game more than any I expect the Pack to take full advantage of the west coast and work dumps to Grant and Jackson and then slants to Driver and Jennings.

Nobody intimidates the Green Bay Packers, especally low lifes from the viqueens. More locker room clippings for our O-line people.

Green text + green background = sore eyes. Your posts are almost illegible. If you have to type in Packers colors maybe gold would be the way to go. Just a friendly note in case you were unaware.

As for Allen, he really likes to run his mouth! I haven't heard many interviews with him, does he come across as stupid? His fascination with the humor value of the number 69 makes me think he's at the mental level of a middle schooler. It's his football number, his bar's motto was "Wine 'em Dine 'em 69 'em", etc. He seems to be a doofus.

He might get a sack or two, but 5? Pure arrogance. Why do people with such poor attitudes get several million dollars per year to trash talk their heads off?

To be honest, I haven't see or heard this "quote" anywhere else except for the original poster. I am starting to doubt it. He does talk a lot of smack, but that is one that I haven't seen. Even if he did say it, it is just that, smack. There is a difference between trash talking and honest expectations.

Also, keep in mind that it is not impossible by any means. Osi Umenyiora had 6 against the Eagles just last season. But I agree that we will more likely see one or two.

I am curious as to the "poor attitude" comment though. Why do you think that Allen has a poor attitude?
"There's the snap, Rodgers with a quick drop - in trouble! AND SACKED BY ALLEN! The ball is lose, the ball is lose, and recovered by Kevin Williams! And that's the ball game! Childress and the Vikings FINALLY beat the Packers!"

In regards to your comment about Umenyiora, I believe he was facing a rookie backup who unfortunately was nothing more than a minor inconvenience to Osi. Clifton is going to be a far harder body to get around.

As for your question, mostly it stems from Jared Allen's lack of exemplary off the field behaviour (e.g. his drink driving), and you can really compare how he approaches the game and life, compared to say, Aaron Kampman (who was out in tornado ravanged country helping where he could). As a well known athlete, he *should* be held to a higher standard than anybody else precisely because so many people look up to him and envy his ability. He gets paid an exorbitant amount for really what amounts to running around a park, chasing people. Hell, I've done that since I was 5. But nobody paid me to do it. Maybe I'm just bitter because I just spend the last 3 hours applying to companies for work, in what we call the real world 😃.

I dont understand why any player in the national football league would want to openly talk smack anyway.

every team in this league is filled with amazing athletes who sometimes lack one thing... motivation. To go out and freely give motivation to your opponents is pretty silly in my opinion.

For instance. We all know that Jared Allen is trying to hype himself up for the game. Having Arods picture in his locker keeps Jareds focus on beating the Packers. which is pretty motivating in itself for Jared apparently. Now say Arod was giving some beat writers something to talk about at his locker and said, " Jared Who? that guys a drunk chump, and won't even lay a hand on me. I am not worried about him in the slightest. He needs to worry about staying sober for five minutes instead of sacking me" Don't you think Jared Allens motivation just went from crazy obsessed to down right murderous insanity.

I just think its stupid of Allen. If you're banging some guys girlfriend, he probably already wants to kill you. Why put a full page picture of you banging her in the Sunday newspaper?

Is it a slightly out-of-focus picture taken from a group of bushes way off but with a telescoping lens that shows Aaron in his living room with his shirt off? Cause that would be creepy.

And how can JA get any sacks when he shows up to the game wasted? Cause he's, ya know, an alcoholic, so he'll def be drunk.

Personally, I could give two pinches less what Jared Allen lips off about before the game, actually I hope he ratchets it up a bit and provides even a little more focus for some of our players.

Hopefully, it would be so outlandish that he draws some of the media attention that way.. then Cliffy can show up on that Monday night and silence him on the field.

Never was one for much of the smack talking.. although it generally was paid back at some point between the whistles..

dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024

dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
