If we go 18 games, do we shorten the games by 3 minutes per quarter?

12 minute quarters, for 18 games is almost 100 minutes a season less wear an tear on their bodies.

Does Exhibition week 3 become game 1 of the regular season?
Do we start training camp two weeks later? Pushing the Super Bowl back to March? If so, is March warmer than Feburary? If so, that means more venues are available for hosting the Super Bowl.

The CFL did it.

They still play 20 games. They just made two of the pre season games count.

I am all for it in the NFL as well. Hell they charge the same price for a pre season game ticket as they do for a regular season game so make it count.

It will effect many players though who would have needed those extra two opportunities to prove they can play and make the team. However, that is life. Adapt. Overcome. Achieve.
