Carlos Zambrano will be placed on the restricted list, undergo a treatment program

Treatment? For what? Being a douche bag? I guess he has a douche disease.

Here is my cure:

Stop  being a douche.

I laugh at the outrage about Carlos. He reacted wrongly.. but at the same time.. when you are a competitive soul and your teammates play as anemically as the Cubs have.. Sometimes it takes everything you have to not do what Carlos did. It pissed me off to hear the manager and the front office of the Cubs make the statements they did.. that his outburst was an embarassment to the organization.

Ummm.. No. What's embarassing is how horseshit the team is playing.

Fun fact: The Cardinals are now 42-0 this season when they score more runs than their opponent.

Just when the Brewers show a little sign of life and hope.. they blow one against the Astros.. serious way to return to a funk.

I think this crap is setup.. they remain with a faint sense of hope so that management won't trade away a piece or two (an overachieving Hart or salary waiting to explode Fielder) to obtain a deeper more consistent (Can I repeat consistent with hopes that it helps in some magical way) rotation or stock up the minor arms a bit.

No we will win just enough to bait DM into holding his cards with hopes of making a run.

Then we will get to the offseason.. dream of a 2011 run with Fielder and then either have to trade him away from a rental type compensation or let him walk in the 2012 offseason.

Just the way it happens in Brew Town. Never quite putting it all together.

My point:

If you're going to go off a tirade, and get in the face of your teammates, in public, you better make sure you're shit doesn't stink. If he was 9-2 with a 2.5 ERA, then that would be a little different.

But when you have sucked as much as he has, he has no room to be yelling at teammates because he thinks they aren't doing their job. He's not doing his job either. His anger wasn't directed at himself, or his bad play; he made it a point to confront Derek Lee because he thought he should have made a better effort to field the ball on a double hit by Pierre. Maybe he should have. But Zambrano shouldn't have given up that 3 run homerun either.

So because a guy that isn't playing well, he can't start throwing shit around in a hissy fit about the club as a whole's performance?

My point: Doesn't matter WHO throws the fit. It shows they actually care about the situation instead of being an empty shell of a player. My point > your point, IMO. 🙂

He doesn't give a damn about the team. I suppose you are going to tell me that when he sucker punched a teammate last year, that he only did it because he cares about the team. Hilarious.
