"Youngest team" is such an overused cliche by the media and for the most part it doesn't mean sh.t. What't the age of your key players? As mentioned above we're one of the younest teams but as starters we're one of the oldest. That's why Bulaga was such a key pick, Lang's, Raji's, Burnett's, a CB's and other player deveopment/aquisition are important. Cliffy, Tausch, Driver, Woodson, and Pickett, Barnett, Wells possibly soon after are not going to be easy to replace. We have some peices in place. But there's a big difference between looking good in camp or preseason and being consistent for a 16 game season. We'll need a number of things to work out as planned and some luck, same as mosst teams.

The youth excuse should not be played in GB this season.. in fact I think there are no excuses to be had by this Packer team going into the season.

The only excuse I might buy in the season is a run on injuries.. but even then it would have to be a couple key injuries or Rodgers.. anything beyond that is hogwash.

The active game numbers for our roster are in pretty good shape this season.. especially for players named Colledge and Spitz. 😉

I agree with what has basically been said that we have been the youngest team for a while but haven't had the youngest starters... just that our depth is younger than most others depth...

Also I heard the Chiefs technically passed the Packers at one point for the youngest team in the NFL and the writers kept saying their the youngest team because they have been saying it for a while. Also since then the Chiefs have added like 3 older vets so I think the Packers are again the youngest but I don't know...

Also while I don't dislike Jarrett Bush as much as some I think it's time for him to go if he hasn't changed as while he's a good STer he just plain out seemed to get too many penalties...
