The LenDale White experiment in Seattle is over.

White was released on Friday.

"It became apparent at this time that LenDale was not ready to be a member of the Seattle Seahawks," Seahawks GM John Schneider said. "It just did not appear to be the right fit at this point in our program. We wish LenDale all the best with his future."

Acquired from the Tennessee Titans in a trade, White reported to the Seahawks in great shape. He was down to 220 pounds after being 250 pounds at times as a member of the Titans.

White came to the Seahawks during the third day of the NFL draft. The team also acquired defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson.

The trade reunited White with Seahawks coach Pete Carroll, whom White played for at USC.

you wanna make the guy who complained about not getting enough carries our backup?

MM hardly rotates our RBs or runs on 3rd down for that matter.

besides, what was the big knock on Deshawn Wynn before we got rid of him? he was laaazy.

i just dont see/want it.

Anyone else say "Wow!" when they read this sentence? None of the "we wish him west, it just didn't work out" stuff. "Not ready to ..." ??

The Seahawks traded the 104th (4th), 176th (6th) for the 111th (4th), 185th (6th), LenDale White and Kevin Vickerson.

You just take a shot on a guy who you know could not work out, because the resources involved aren't that big.

For the Seahawks, a team with absolutely no players on the D-line anymore, Kevin Vickerson is enough to make that trade worth it.
