Yeah....that IS true. We never think for ourselves, lie to our wives, and our children know more then us immediatly when they are born.
Even white male children.........until they reach the age of 18, at which point they instantly become idiots, like the rest of us.

During the Colts/Bears Super Bowl, my sister-in-law made this big scene in front of all our guests about how she was going to count how many commercials were derogatory towards women. I told her that was fine, but that I'd count how many commercials made men look like idiots. It wasn't even close, the men-are-idiots commercials won by about a 5 to 1 margin, and some of the ones she counted were because a girl in the background was wearing a low-cut shirt or something like that. She wasn't happy that I was able to prove my point. You could tell she just wanted to go off. It was funny.

I must say I've never paid much attention to men being idiots in commercials.

I'm too busy paying attention to the beautiful women. :)

White males definitely have it rough in this world, being the butt of jokes in tv commercials. Can we start a support group?

Color me indifferent.. as in I give a shat less if we are the butt of jokes on TV.. we are big boys.

I have little issue in laughing at myself... so why should I give a crap if we are pigeon-holed as the butt of jokes on TV.

I know Cheesey has mentioned this before.

Why is it that women, and black guys, are never the butt of the joke in any commercials? Its ALWAYS the white guy. EVERY time.

IronMan - You want to hear something more disturbing?

In commercials, men are stupid and need a woman to tell them how to do anything as they're completely mentally incompetent. But in Hollywood, violence against men by women is often funny. Violence against women by men is ALWAYS wrong. Even more disturbing, in Hollywood, rape against women is the worst thing in the world. Rape against men is comedy.

And it's not just white men. If you watched black TV, you'd see the same trends against black men.

Oh believe me, this isn't limited to the males of your race. White women dancing is every bit as frightening as white men dancing. Possibly even more because white women think they can dance. White men at least know better.
