I was at the game last night. They showed that video at halftime and I was cracking up the whole time. I've only been to one Bucks game before (last year when they lost to the Lakers) and let me tell you, the Bradley Center was ROCKING. It was an awesome experience.

Man, I feel sorry for that guy getting dumped into the Milwaukee River. My brother claims it's getting cleaner..............WTF? Last summer when we visited there we went out in a boat for a ride. Couldn't see 3 inches below the surface.

Bob....you could see 2 inches below the surface on the Milwaukee River???
Wow.....it HAS improved!
I remember when i was a kid, you stood on the river bank and watched the fish sticking their heads out of the water for a breath of air!

Oh....and i caught the end of the game last night. We were down by 7 with a few minutes left........i thought "We're done"....then i come back and we were up by 7! Winning the game by 4. I was shocked! (And quite happy!)
These guys have NO quit! I felt bad that i had given up on the game when i did. They sure didn't give up!

I thought it was over when the Hawks made their run in the 4th, with all there dunks, but the Bucks battled back. The Bucks future is very bright. They have a GM not unlike the Packers, who was maligned by many, but has really done a great job rebuilding the team and changing bad habits.

I think Brandon Jennings mother must have raised him right. The kid has every reason to be a cocky little bastard, but he has a humility about him that overcomes it so to not be overbearing about his talent.

Cheesey, you ever read the realgm bucks board? Those guys are real passionate and they had quite the argument last summer and fall over Charlie V and Ramon Sessions. I think Hammond smarter than given credit for, although he did win the executive of the year award.

I agree on both accounts.. I have been curious about Brandon all winter... but one cannot be less than impressed upon how he conducts himself both on and off the court. Heard his community service programs in MILW are superb.. I find myself excited to watch this kid mature for the Bucks.

He might just revive the franchise.. along with some under-rated roster decisions. They are getting attention in the second half of this season.

Still don't care for the pro version of the game overall.. but I can say I was into it last night watching the bucks go on the 14-0 run.

Yeah, I couldn't sleep. Had to stay up until halftime of the next game to see how Barkley could put a negative spin on the Bucks, but he praised them. Barkley hates Milwaukee stemming from a few bar fights in the distant past. Barkley pisses people off, but appreciate his brutal honesty.

It is just refreshing to read his candor in answering questions...

BTW.. I wonder if those that vote for the rookie of the year will be regretful like the Trailblazers taking Bowie over Jordan. ;)

Brandon Jennings skipped across the court following the Milwaukee Bucks' stunning Game 5 victory in Atlanta, showing a bit of playoff swagger.

No, Young Buck did not get the NBA rookie of the year award on Thursday, an honor that instead went to Sacramento Kings guard Tyreke Evans.

But given the choice, the 20-year-old Jennings would gladly take the playoff experience over the trophy.

And how about this?

If the Bucks are able to defeat the Atlanta Hawks in Game 6 at a sold-out Bradley Center on Friday night, the Milwaukee point guard and his teammates will be in the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Orlando Magic.

The Bucks lead the best-of-seven series with Atlanta, 3-2, and have a chance to win a post-season series for the first time since 2001.

"To win a playoff series is real motivation, because they said we couldn't do it as a team," Jennings said after practice Thursday. "If we get the game Friday, I'm sure everybody out there will be 'Fearing the Deer,' as they say."

Jennings had a remarkable rookie year while helping the Bucks reach the playoffs, a goal he talked about from the first day he joined the team.

But he has elevated his play against the Hawks and is averaging a team-leading 20.8 points in the first five games of the playoffs. He also has handed out 3.8 assists and grabbed 3.0 rebounds while shooting 44.8% from the field, 35.7% from three-point range and 84.2% at the free throw line.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR
Voting

Selected by a national panel of 123 sportswriters and broadcasters, players were awarded five points for each first-place vote, three points for each second-place vote and one point for each third-place vote received:

Player, Team 1st 2nd 3rd Pts
Evans, Sac 67 50 6 491
Curry, GS 43 50 26 391

Collison, NO 1 1 9 17
Flynn, Minn - - 2 2

Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : sounds like Packers don't get good compensation, Jaire staying
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Nobody coming up with a keep, but at x amount
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Trade, cut or keep
dfosterf (16-Apr) : that from Jaire
dfosterf (16-Apr) : My guess is the Packers floated the concept of a reworked contract via his agent and agent got a f'
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Yes, and that is why I think Rob worded it how he did. Rather than say "agent"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Same laws apply. Agent must present such an offer to Jaire. Cannot accept or reject without presenting it
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : I'm thinking that is why Rob worded it how he did.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The Packers can certainly still make the offer to the agent
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Laws of agency and definition of fiduciary responsibility
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Jaire is open to a reduced contract without Jaire's permission
dfosterf (16-Apr) : The agent would arguably violate the law if he were to tell the Packers
    Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : That someone ... likely the agent.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : So, Jaire has not been offered nor rejected a pay reduction, but someone says he'd decline.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovksy says t was direct communication with someone familiar with Jaire’s line of thinking at that moment.
Zero2Cool (16-Apr) : Demovsky just replied to me a bit ago. Jaire hasn't said it.
dfosterf (16-Apr) : Of course, that depends on the definition of "we"
dfosterf (16-Apr) : We have been told that they haven't because he wouldn't accept it. I submit we don't know that
dfosterf (16-Apr) : What is the downside in making a calculated reduced offer to Jaire?
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers are receiving interest in Jaire Alexander but a trade is not imminent
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Jalen Ramsey wants to be traded. He's never happy is he?
    Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : two 1sts in 2022 and two 2nd's in 2023 and 2024
Zero2Cool (15-Apr) : Packers had fortunate last three drafts.
dfosterf (15-Apr) : I may have to move
dfosterf (15-Apr) : My wife just told the ancient Japanese sushi dude not enough rice under his fish
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I think a dozen is what I need
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Go fund me for this purpose just might work. A dozen nurses show up at 1265 to provide mental health assistance.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Maybe send a crew of Angels to the Packers draft room on draft day.
Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : I am the Angel that gets visited.
dfosterf (14-Apr) : Visiting Angels has a pretty good reputation
    Zero2Cool (14-Apr) : what
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : WINNING IT, not someone else losing it. The best victory though was re-uniting with his wife
Martha Careful (14-Apr) : The manner in which he won it was just amazing and wonderful. First blowing the lead then getting back, then blowing it. But ultimately
Zero2Cool (12-Apr) : I'm guessing since the thumb was broken, he wasn't feeling it.
dfosterf (10-Apr) : Looking for guidance. Not feeling the thumb.
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : If they knew about it or not
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : I don't recall that he did which is why I asked.
Zero2Cool (10-Apr) : Guessing they probably knew. Did he have cast or something on?
Mucky Tundra (10-Apr) : Did they know that at the time or was that something the realized afterwards?
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Van Ness played most of season with broken thumb
    wpr (9-Apr) : yay
Zero2Cool (9-Apr) : Mark Murphy says Steelers likely to protect Packers game. Meaning, no Ireland
Zero2Cool (8-Apr) : Struggling to figure out what text editor options are needed and which are 'nice to have'
Mucky Tundra (8-Apr) : *CHOMP CHOMP CHOMP*
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : WR who said he'd break Xavier Worthy 40 time...and ran slower than you
    Mucky Tundra (2-Apr) : Who?
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Texas’ WR Isaiah Bond is scheduled to visit the Bills, Browns, Chiefs, Falcons, Packers and Titans starting next week.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : Spotting ball isn't changing, only measuring distance is, Which wasn't the issue.
Zero2Cool (2-Apr) : The spotting of the ball IS the issue. Not the chain gang.
