Uh, no, I'm advocating for a system in which division record is the primary arbiter of playoff standing, as I said previously.

So if a team goes 6-10 and won all their division games and lost the rest and say another team goes 14-2 but lost one division game, your saying the 6-10 team should be in the playoffs and not the 14-2 team?

Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

I don't know if I agree with that.. I'm ok with the current system (until they add more teams to the league).

To help ensure that the final weeks of the season will be meaningful, Roger Goodell said on ESPN Radio this morning that every week 17 game will be a divisional match up.

Also, in the last three weeks of the season, there will be 28 divisional games, compared to 15 last year. This is a GREAT decision.

I can live with that. I think it's a pretty good idea. At the very least should make it more interesting...minus a team in the cellar playing a team with a playoff spot already locked up.

I do wonder why we need to play the viks so close in schedule again ie was the same thing last year - not even a month apart while the bears games are over 3 months apart and the lions are a little over 2 months ...

I do like the last 2 games being home games ...
