Totally agree we have two safeties that can help the box against the run and hit people: Bigby and Rouse it is very unlucky that both got hurt.
Prepah, Collins, Bush are more of the type of jogging around the field as if they were covering somebody...

Bigby's injury has really been lingering. We need him out there to help out our run D.

Unlike all of the other S, Collins can cover. And Collins is better than Rouse in the box because Rouse is still too stupid to wrap up.... he has hit a lot of people this season... but a they keep going.

If Bigby could cover he would be perfect for what we're asking him to do.

And even though he's not that good at covering he's still very good. He has to be physical and a sure tacklers and he's great at those things.

i like collins rouse i agree wrap it up when you have some one corners i think are helping big time willams i think is doing a great job and agree once all are healthy you will see a different team look at indy they are no better and they have a vet q.b but without key players the o-line is struggling same with their d-line so i don't feel to bad that the team isn't at their utmost at the moment, but it is coming soon

haha. yeah i feel like i was the only one who wanted collins to keep his job. but i was also one of those who was happy that we got a 2nd round pick for Corey Williams. Granted he hasn't done much in Cleveland, but we could definitely use him now.

You are correct sir, if you watched closely for the most part Collins was assignment sure all of last year as well.. people seen the lack of the big play or dropped chances and railed on him.

Kid is the QB of the secondary for a reason.. people just seems to want to nail the kid at every chance.. my only concern with Collins is he always seems to be nicked up.

Collins > Bigby at this point.. Atari is the enforcer, Collins is the guy that seems to have unlimited range and solid instincts.. I will take Collins over Bigby at his point in importance.

Look at the list.

Damn....

When this team gets healthy... There is going to be a "Reckoning." of Biblical proportions in the NFC North.

I am pumped up about a major perfectly timed run into the playoffs.

It is all good. No.... Sorry.... It is all perfect.

"When" is the problem. To me, it's more like "IF".
I think "IF" this team would ever be healthy all at the same time, we could be a force. But will that ever happen this season? I don't think Rodgers will ever be healthy this season. As long as he plays it will be sore. And i don't know if the bye time off will be enough to really get healthy.
Being as we have SO much of the team hurt, the chances of all of them getting healthy at the same time are slim.
Don't misunderstand.......I'm not a pessimist, but i AM a realist. I think Rodgers not being 100% is going to bite us several times the rest of this year.
Of course i'm hoping i'm wrong, and that the Packers will go on a big winning streak.

The injuries have been devastating... However, the players have to be more consistent.

Penalties on the offensive side have killed us as well.

Here is what I see. We don't need a DOMINANT rushing game, we don't need a stifling defense. We just need to play a BIT more consistently on both sides of the ball.

How many key plays on key drives were thwarted because of holding?

We haven't been losing by much. Just a little better, more consistent, less error and penalty prone play from both sides of the ball make us a winner. We just need to win one to get over the hump.

This schedule is a killer though isn't it?

I definitely agree with this. Getting better field position for our D is up there as well.

It will be nice to have Hall back. Watch him lay out Sharper on Grant's long run vs the Vikes. (At 1:08)

beast (21-Jan) : Also in college football, is a bye week a good or bad thing?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : The tournament format was fine. Seeding could use some work.
beast (21-Jan) : You can't assume Ohio State would of won the Michigan game...
beast (21-Jan) : Rankings were 1) Oregon 2) Georgia 3) Texas 4) Penn State 5) Notre Dame 6) Ohio State, none of the rest mattered
wpr (21-Jan) : Texas, ND and OSU would have been fighting for the final 2 slots.
wpr (21-Jan) : Oregon and Georgia were locks. Without the luxury of extra playoff berths, Ohios St would have been more focused on Michigan game.
wpr (21-Jan) : Zero, no. If there were only 4 teams Ohio State would have been one of them. Boise St and ASU would not have been selected.
Zero2Cool (21-Jan) : So that was 7 vs 8, that means in BCS they never would made it?
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : A great game. Give ND credit for coming back, although I am please with the outcome.

Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame getting rolled
Martha Careful (21-Jan) : Ohio State just got punched in the gut. Lets see how they respond
Mucky Tundra (21-Jan) : Notre Lame vs the Luckeyes, bleh
