I can hear it now.. Gore will be ringing the bell loudly... so warm it can't even snow.. lol.

There was no measurable snowfall in March in Wausau for the first time on record, according to the National Weather Service in Green Bay.

Weather records date back to 1885. Wausau receives an average of 10.7 inches of snow in March.

Wausau has received 29.5 inches of snow this winter as of Thursday, well below the normal amount of 54.7 inches for this time of year, according to the weather agency. There have been only eight winters when less snow has fallen in Wausau.

On five occasions 1946, 1949, 1968, 1969 and 1973 Wausau received less than one inch of snow in March.

NWS meteorologist Tim Kieckbusch said Rhinelander and Green Bay also recorded no snowfall in March.

"The oranges are dry; the apples are mealy; and the papayas... I don't know what's going on with the papayas!"

Same with Minnesota. Although, I'm not sure that the northern parts of the state didn't get hit.
