I'm reporting brady quinn was just traded to denver for peyton hillis and 2 conditional draft picks

Quinn never really had a chance to prove himself in Cleveland. Denver is doing a nice job by getting him. Even if this fails, they'll have Orton behind him who's a very solid starter and great back-up.

The Browns get a pretty good offensive player in Hillis. He's "just" a FB, but he can catch passes, run it a little and really be involved in a gameplan.

I'd love to see what those two conditional draft picks are.

Two starting battles incoming

Delhomme vs Seneca in Cleveland
Quinn vs Orton in Denver

I personally think Seneca and Orton will win the battles.

I think Orton is better than Quinn. There's something about Quinn that I just can't jump on board with him for.

I hope Brady Quinn wins the battle though. There's always the tiny chance Orton pulls of a miracle and becomes the best QB in the league. And that would be bad for me, because two years ago I promised to lick polargrizz's balls the day Orton was a better QB than Rodgers.

That Browns team will look nothing like it did last year. They just traded Wimbley to the Raiders for an unknown draft pick. Holmgren is totally rebuilding that team.

But it just looks like a weird strategy to go with Delhomme, who's as good as done, and trade for Wallace while trading away a guy like Wimbley, who's one of the few guys who can actually get to the QB on the roster. It's like he's regutting that defense, while finding stop-gap players on offense. I'm not totally getting what they're doing.
