What do you think about Green Bay drafting Tebow? There's an article on ESPN's website today about his possible destinations in the NFC North. McCarthy said he would love to coach a Tebow and who knows what would happen if in a couple years under his coaching how he could develop. He has the mobility like Rodgers as well. I'd feel more comfortable with Tebow coming in if Rodgers got hurt more than I do with Flynn coming in.

I agree with the pundits who have suggested that the Packers bring in Tebow as a HB while grooming him as a QB to be tradebait a few years down the road. He wouldn't be happy about it, of course -- he wants to play QB -- but I really couldn't care less how he feels about it.

I'm not sure why...
I'm not even sure Tebow will be playing QB in the NFL in a couple of years....

Also seems like every coach is saying they would love to coach Tebow because he's such a great person. Some have kept talking and have made commits that made it sound like he may not have the talent or position though...

well, I guess let me take back my comment about feeling more comfortable with him coming in besides Flynn now that I think about it, but I think Tebow would be great for the locker room even though it seems fine already. He would bring a lot of media attention to the team during the off-season and through the preseason.

Tom Tebow is one of the most overrated players I have ever watched in any sport. His so called running skills won't fly in the NFL. He will get creamed by D-linemen(much less LB and CB) that will now be stronger and faster than him.

Have you seen this guy throw under pressure? HAVE YOU SEEN THIS GUY THROW?!?! Not a QB(unless somehow amazingly developed) and DEFINITELY not a HB. Are you kidding me!!!??

So make him a FB or even a TE. I don't care. Somebody will be desperate enough to trade for him eventually. I wouldn't want to draft him any higher than the 3rd round, though. At this stage of his development, he's not worth investing more than that.

A 3rd wouldn't piss me off that much. Anything higher would. I still think that we're not going to get much in return and that he won't pan out in the NFL, so I'd rather not draft him at all.

I think that the Jaguars will pounce on him before the 3rd, anyway. It's a ticket selling thing, not a skill thing, for them.

I don't like this class of quarterbacks.

The reason I don't like them is that they aren't getting over-hyped enough.

Usually by now we would have at least 3, and possibly 4 quarterbacks that "absolutely should be taken early in the draft". They are ALL pretty much a crap-shoot, past and present, but it's nice when a whole mess of them are way over-rated.

As an example, I still think it is as likely as not that the Redskins will come to the realization that they need one of "our" LT prospects, largely in part because there is nothing in these QB's that shouts, "must have."

Tebow would fit nicely in Jacksonville. As I have stated, (back alley, was it?) his version of wearing his beliefs on his sleeve irritates me a bit, but at the same time you have to respect his leadership and work ethic.

I don't know if Tebow will make a good NFL QB, but I can say pretty much the same thing about all of these. I think if I was Jacksonville, I'd go ahead and take him as early as the 2nd, and would be thrilled if they took him in the first round, which I do not see happening. He will put butts in the seats, big-time...

...Or more accurately, sell season tickets. If he sucks, his leash will be no longer than any other NFL QB, no matter the existing "love" for him down there. It would be a terribly interesting dynamic in Jacksonville. Do you groom him-bring him along slowly, keeping the fan interest at a certain level until he "finally" wins the job, or do you throw him out there, possibly sacrificing all of the optimism borne of homerism and hope for the home town boy?

Quick trivia game:

Name the distinguishing characteristic that would set the Green Bay Packers roster apart from all other NFL rosters, were they to select Tim Tebow in the 2010 NFL draft.
