That is a pretty nice strategy. The lack of OTs in the 2nd round is somewhat worrying, though, so this would be risky.

Yea I agree, but I would only go this route if the Tackles value have dropped IE most of the top guys being picked already. BUt know Ted Thompson we'll end up drafting a Nose tackle or Tight End here or something haha. So unpredictable!

You know what pick I've been thinking about? WR.
I know, it sounds crazy, but hear me out.
Dez Bryant has been mocked to the Broncos oftenly as of late, but let's imagine that they will keep Brandon Marshall and won't go for a receiver in the first.
Parcells doesn't have a history of drafting WRs and could use some help on defense. Especially at LB.
I can see the 49ers going with Spiller over Bryant.
WR is a need for the Seahawks, but I can't imagine that they'd go with a WR over a quality OT, looking at how awfull their O-line is. Especially with Jones out.
I asume that Dez Bryant will go somewhere in the picks between the last one I talked about and us. If he's the only one gone, that leaves you with a lot of nice names at WR for us to pick. Jordy and James haven't gone over 500 yards in the last 2 seasons. The reason might be that they're lower on the depth chart, but you have to wonder if it's something else. Maybe something that shows the coaching staff that they might not be good enough to follow up Driver when he retires.
I wouldn't be too surprised if we went WR in this draft.
