Off the top of my head.. a former Oklahoma corner that left school early, played in the indoor league and was drafted on potential by Thompson.. stuck with the Packers briefly, was picked up by a club or two after..

If memory serves me right.. he was a blue chip high school recruit.

Hopefully Lee can get healthy and potentially make a impact but I wouldn't have a problem drafting a CB in the 1st or 2nd round.

I'm a big fan of Kyle Wilson CB from Boise State, wouldnt mind trading out of the first and picking up an extra third while gaining a 2nd if it looks like he would slip.

That is a pretty nice strategy. The lack of OTs in the 2nd round is somewhat worrying, though, so this would be risky.

Yea I agree, but I would only go this route if the Tackles value have dropped IE most of the top guys being picked already. BUt know Ted Thompson we'll end up drafting a Nose tackle or Tight End here or something haha. So unpredictable!

You know what pick I've been thinking about? WR.

I know, it sounds crazy, but hear me out.

Dez Bryant has been mocked to the Broncos oftenly as of late, but let's imagine that they will keep Brandon Marshall and won't go for a receiver in the first.

Parcells doesn't have a history of drafting WRs and could use some help on defense. Especially at LB.

I can see the 49ers going with Spiller over Bryant.

WR is a need for the Seahawks, but I can't imagine that they'd go with a WR over a quality OT, looking at how awfull their O-line is. Especially with Jones out.

I asume that Dez Bryant will go somewhere in the picks between the last one I talked about and us. If he's the only one gone, that leaves you with a lot of nice names at WR for us to pick. Jordy and James haven't gone over 500 yards in the last 2 seasons. The reason might be that they're lower on the depth chart, but you have to wonder if it's something else. Maybe something that shows the coaching staff that they might not be good enough to follow up Driver when he retires.

I wouldn't be too surprised if we went WR in this draft.

lol holy crap if we got Dez Bryant I don't know who could stop our passing game. But WR is not on our list of main needs. But hey, either was QB when we got A-Rodge, so who knows?

I would. Pretty interesting theory, but I have faith in Jones and Nelson, so I don't see it happening.
