I also think that his "private locker" was/is more of a neccessity than anything. At GB, during the week, he dressed in the locker room with the rest of the players. I know this for fact as I have been in the locker room while the team was on the field and saw his clothes in his locker.
On game days, he would dress in another room so that all the media would not surround him and cause problems with the other players (imagine being the guy with the locker next to him when the media hoarded around Favre).

Do the Mannings, Bradys, have that? You could almost include Rodgers in that cuz he has or had just a few reporters hanging around
How come it wasnt that way when he was MVP?

How's Tripp supposed to know this? I'm assuming he's only been in the Packers locker room on game day.. Not the Colts or Pats.
BTW, the media in Green Bay and the media in New FUCKING York are TWO completely different animals. Also, keep in mind that NO ONE in Minny is complaining now, or ever has complained, about Brett's locker arrangement .
More likely than not, he wanted to keep from the sharks in NY, thus got his own room. His teammates were ungrateful for what he brought to the table, so as soon as he was released, they blasted him. Now that another season is just about done, making the Jets look like tools, not Brett.
