Chemistry with the Jets was NOT okay

Thinks Brett should think about his family while he still is healthy

Winning fixes everything.
Had the Jets won big with Favre, i bet there wouldn't be any complaints.
Thats why i think you don't hear complaints out of the Vikings. They had a BIG year. Had they lost more, i bet there would be complaints about Favre's "special" treatment.

I didnt hear about special treatment. I heard jealousy from players who "thought" they were superstars untill a "real" supperstar arrived on the scene.

I didn't read the article or even click the link, but I think the special treatment is referring to Brett having his own quarters to get dressed instead of the locker room where the other 52 players take care of said business.

There was quite a bit of special treatment for Brett while in Green Bay and with your connections, I'm extremely confident you're fully aware of all of them, probably more than I know about. I mean, one can only learn so much by being an amateur stalker, right?

Trippster....all these over paid atheletes think THEY are "all it". They are in love with themselves.
It's sad, but most good players end up being that way.
The money and "brown nosers" they have around them 24/7 makes them that way.
Surrounded by nothing but "yes men" telling them how GREAT they are. I can see why they end up that way. But i still don't like it. In the end, NONE of them are any better then you or me. They were blessed with skills that most of us can only dream of, and very few stay humble.

I know for a FACT that if YOU had the money and influence that BF, or any of the high paid jocks have, YOU would use it to help everyone you could.

Cheesey,

In defense of alot of the professional athletes, many DO use their money to help others. It is just that many do not seek attention and it is not "newsworthy" to cover it. Favre gives plenty, not only cash but time (as you and I personally know).

I also think that his "private locker" was/is more of a neccessity than anything. At GB, during the week, he dressed in the locker room with the rest of the players. I know this for fact as I have been in the locker room while the team was on the field and saw his clothes in his locker.

On game days, he would dress in another room so that all the media would not surround him and cause problems with the other players (imagine being the guy with the locker next to him when the media hoarded around Favre).

Zero, the article referred to the players on the team that used to get all the attention and didn't once Favre was there. Did he get preferential treatment? Oh, I am sure. Not unlike the CEO of a corporation gets perks we peons don't. Comes with the territory.

Guys like Lavernious Coles got alot of media attention after games but once Favre came on, all the media wanted his take. Poor lavern didn't like that (and the fact they cast out his buddy Chad Pennington).

In my contact with stars, I have found most to be very nice, courteous, and generous. But that is not reportable to the media so unless you have personal contact, you don't hear too much about what they do.

Remember, God smiles most when you do good deeds without others knowing. And believe it or not, that is REALLY important to ALOT of celebrities.

back to work..

I think it was Deanna that mentioned something about Brett coming back, not for the money, but that money played a part in it because it was more money they could give to charity. I can't recall where I read/heard it from, but when people say "if Brett's back for the love, why does he command a double digit million salary?" and my thinking goes back to what she said, because mainly he deserves it and second, its more money for the Favre Fourward Foundation.

I know there are guys that do good with it.
Maybe Brett didn't want to dress in front of the other guys cause they made fun of his grey pubes.

(j/k of course!)LOL!

He has gray pubes? Well, it's comforting to know that at least the carpets match the drapes.

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : It should be halted now.
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : usually spambots are trying to get traffic to shady websites filled with spyware; the two links being spammed were to the Packers website
Mucky Tundra (18-Feb) : you know when you put it that way combined with the links it was spamming (to the official Packers website)
Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : Yep. You can do that with holding down ENTER on a command in Console of browser

Zero2Cool (18-Feb) : I'm not certain it's a bot.
