It would be nice if during this week, they thought our defense to tackle. Not enough wrapping up and too many yard after first contact. Say what you want, but THAT was what lost us this game. That last series we had him stopped six yards short of the 1st down, but he kept pushing and was finaaly taken down one yard short.

Same penalties every week on the O-line. That's poor coaching. Let the excuses begin. We hear the same thing during the post game conferences every week, but the problems don't get corrected. At least next week's game with the Seahawks looks winnable. We can't be worse than them.

i'm very glad i didn't set my expectations too high for this season. although the talent is there on many fronts (including QB), the injuries have hurt us immensely along with the penalties. i approached this season like "oh boy - this should be interesting" & it certainly has been so far.

I thought I was watching the Raiders with all of the flags. Penalties killed the Packers. That is bullshit. Mike has to crack the whip this week. No day off tomorrow. In the freaking film room at 0800 HRS and then run laps until they puke.

The injuries really began to catch up with the Packers this week, especially the Cullen Jenkins injury, which is going to be huge all season because there is no similar player on the roster to replace him with. Just a bunch of lightweights.

But it is shocking how many of our players are not showing up. Kampman, Hawk, and Barnett were pretty much invisible today. Poppinga did absolutely nothing. The offense was limited again by horrible pass blocking, especially by the tackles. Aaron Rodgers had no right to put up 300 yards and three TD's with so little help from his line. He's lucky he didn't get killed out there.

Not necessarily McCarthy. The position coach falls under coaching. And yes after 5 weeks of it, it should have been corrected. Unfortunately due to our health problems, benching the offenders may not be an option.
