Tavaris Jackson, may of made some improvements, but he's not even in Aaron Rodgers' class. The Packers had something special in Rodgers sitting on the bench and he flashed it in preseason quite a bit and then against a very good Cowboys' defense in the regular season. Fans were surprised, but coaches weren't.
If Jackson had been "THE GUY", he would've been the Vikings' starting QB this season. For Minnesota to go out and get Favre, tells me that they had a lot of concerns with Jackson.
Apples and oranges. Of course at the time, I thought GB should of taken Favre back, but the situations were different. I felt Rodgers would be good to efficient. Not THIS good, but decent enough. Jackson, I feel like is going to be a career backup. If Favre wants back, Childress should take him back.
