I really envy the Ravens fans.

There's nothing I love more than 'weird' blitzing packages. Blitzing 5 man out of a 2-5 formation, getting to Romo in less than 3 seconds. In a 46 formation, Getting to Romo in less than 3 seconds. And all of that without any loss of coverage in the secondary.

Although I asume our defensive scheme will keep more traditional (4-3 Pretty much all the time), I really hope we'll get a defense that somewhat resembles this one aswell.

The gutsy calls by their coaching staff on both sides of the ball was impressive tonight. They played to win this game and their coach throws in some great wrinkles on offense.

I would love to have a D Coordinator like Ravens have.
It does help when you play against a choker like Romo.

:thumbright: I love watching Romo choke away Jerry Jones' dream of buying another Lombardi. I sure hope Dallas does not sneak into the playoffs.

You get an applause for that one Orygunfan. Anyone who hates Dallas deserves a +1.

I loved watching Texas stadium go out with a whimper. Hopefully Eagles destroy Dallas next week.

I keep saying the Packers should switch to a 3-4 defense, it just seems like the top defenses are 3-4 style. But i was saying last week i had to watch the Steeler- Ravens game because that was old school football. Both have great defenses that love to hit and i wasn't let down. Another thing i noticed with those 2 teams is the intensity of the defenses. We don't have that on ours.
Just Imagine this for the next 6-9 years. What a ride it will be 🙂 (PS, Zero should charge for this)

Speaking of this, anyone read the latest SportsIllustrated? They had a good read on both the Ravens and Steelers defensive schemes and how they play the "take the other team offguard" card a lot.

earthquake (2h) : Packers draft starters at safety ever few years. Collins, Clinton-Dix, Savage
beast (4h) : Why can't the rookies be a day 1 starter? Especially when we grabbed 3 of them at the position
dfosterf (7h) : Not going to be shocked if Gilmore goes to the Lions.
dfosterf (8h) : I hear you dhazer, but my guess would be Gilmore Colts and Howard Vikings from what little has been reported.
Mucky Tundra (30-Apr) : S learn from McKinney who learns from Hafley who learns from the fans. Guaranteed Super Bowl
Zero2Cool (30-Apr) : could*
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Safeties should learn from Xavier.
dhazer (29-Apr) : And what about grabbing a Gilmore or Howard at CB ? Those are all Free Agents left
dhazer (29-Apr) : out of curiosity do they try and sign Simmons or Hyde to let these young safeties learn from, they can't be day 1 starters.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : I miss having Sam Shields.
Zero2Cool (29-Apr) : Not that he's making excuses, just pointing it out
