Green Bay - Here is a summary of coach Mike McCarthy's comments to the media Thursday afternoon: - (On Clements in press box) We've had staff changes on offense. Anytime you have change you look at the dynamics of everything. If you're looking for a core belief on how administer your coaches on game day, the QB coach has sat with the quarterback on the sideline. Tom stayed on the field when he became offensive coordinator. Our preference is for the quarterbacks coach to stay with the quarterback. We'll see how it goes. - (Info play caller needs) It's the efficiency and speed of the information. That's what I'm looking for. - (Preseason use for play-calling) It's awesome to call a game in the NFL. I'm looking forward to competing, giving QBs and offense clean plays. I have to get back in a rhythm, get back into study patterns. That's no different for me (in the preseason). - (Travel with new practice schedule) We were able to keep that the same. That was important to me. - (What looking for) I want somebody to jump out, do what they're supposed to where they're saying I deserve more opportunities.

I want to see LaDarius Perkins... the safety position... the UDFA rush OLB's. Dorsey, Janis and Adams. Richard Rodgers. Sherrod.

The most important thing might be Tretter/Linsley.

I will be watching all the linebackers I can on Saturday. I also want to see something resembling a good special teams performance.

The score doesn't matter, I would like to see the backups step up and play an efficient and disciplined game.

I want to go out like my Grandpa did. Peacefully in his sleep.

We are all going to get our 1st looks at these young guys tonight in game situation.

That's what 1st pre-season games are for.

Lacy and Starks may get a few carries, after that, I want to see Harris and Neal, that #3 rb position may turn into a real battle.

Neal looked good "Family Night".

Would like to see the starting 5 O-line play a little more after the rest of the starters are through.

Probably won't happen, this game is all about getting the new guys in different situations and down on film for the coaches to evaluate them.
