I think it’s time to part ways with Kevin King. This dude is a liability in coverage. I feel comfortable putting the loss square on his shoulders for letting that receiver get behind him at the end of the first half and then committing the PI at the end of the game. Maybe I’m just mad right now.

Get rid of Sullivan while you’re at it please, Gutey. And how about not drafting a damn QB in the first round this year? Thanks.

Cute how many times I've read the Jordan Love comment. It's deflating knowing how people can't see beyond ten seconds.

Kevin King can kick rocks.

This team is obviously ready to win now. Love is no Rodgers. He was never even thought about going 1st overall, or even top 10 really. Completely different situation. I will criticize it because there were so many needs we had at the time. Yet we still somehow made it as far as we did. Does nothing but continue to waste Rodgers career.

Let Kevin King go.
There is nothing about his game that I like.
But hey, I’m just a fan.
Perhaps they see something in this kid, but I don’t see it.

Wondering if we draft a CB again in the first round. I am guessing we do. My hope was Zaven Collins, but I can't see us re-signing King so the need will be a Corner instead of LB.

I wanted to draft a CB in the top of last year, as I didn't think much of our CB depth, and still don't...

That being said... depends on the price. If we can get King back cheap, bring him back... he's not great, but he's still better than Josh Jackson and Hollman which is whom we have playing if we get rid of King and Sullivan.

What I'm wondering is do we go after CB Xavier Rhodes? ... I wanted to go after him last year in FA, he had a HORRIBLE 2019... but he was great before that, and he could got something like one year for 4 million deal... now that we got the Vikings CB coach, do we try to get Rhodes since we got a CB need?

This draft isn't said to be great at CB... so we can't go in CB needy, so we need some FA at CB.

Pettine was clueless in the first half.........calling man-man coverage on that last play? Was not King's fault. That being said,,,,,,,,fire Pettine and get rid of King

The more I think about who we are going to draft, the more depressed I get. This was such a good season, but we came up short. Hard to be confident going into next year. Tired of losing in the NFC Championship. Plus I know you can’t expect a rookie to make a year 1 impact and we wasted last year’s draft. Just depressing.

As much as King is not that great he might actually come back for a bargain. I would still rather have him there for cheap than having a rookie CB get torched for the first few season.

Resign him for a two years low $$$ value and groom his replacement.

I thought they might do this simply to avoid just too many pieces being moved around this offseason but after this game I don't think it'll happen.

Don't think you scrap a team that made the divisional championship game with the 9th overall defense.

You might have to let some cap casualties go for example Aaron Jones but asides that the core of the team will remain the same. Dillon was drafted to take the reigns from Jones that was clear and obvious.

All I know is cap is looking bad for next year. Remember how people use to hate Ted Thompson for letting players walk / cutting some players during their mid careers.

Top three picks should be DL, DL, and WR, in any order.

King will come back cheap. I thought Jackson held up in his playing time. Could also be a safety/hybrid guy unless he doesn't want that.

We just went yo the NFCCG two years in a row, and we are still.on the ascent.

And btw, Aaron is "wasting" his own career. At least he cut down on turnovers since last year's NFCCG.

Hard to imagine anyone covering worse than King - including a rookie. Done with him.

He can take Pettine with him... and Zook

How is he wasting his own career? The front office clearly does not care about getting him some quality help. They hope for late round “diamonds in the rough”. Luckily they have hit on a couple of them.

Williams. Snacks. Veldheer. All these moves by Gutey speak to the FO realizing their window with Aaron Rodgers is short and getting him help with some vets that can still play (and, most importantly, play at positions the Packers need some good players). I'm not gonna go off-topic, but needless to say their wasn't any glaring area of weakness in terms of talent that led to this NFCCG loss (note: I'm excluding the fact that Bakthari was injured; an all-pro LT probably gets us a win today ... but just the luck of the draw that our own all-pro LT who fit the bill got injured less than a month ago in practice).

I really, really hope King is gone. Kevin King has been injury prone in his time with GB, had no picks, and has shown himself to be lacking technique (both coverage and in tackling). This is probably the sour taste in my mouth still talking, but I'd rather move on from King (and Sullivan) and force ourselves to improve at CB. Other than on a vet. minimum, I just don't know what value or return on investment the Packers get by bringing back Kevin King.

The title says Kevin King sucks, yet, it's about Jordan Love. There wasn't a difference maker in round one for this season. It's absolutely foolish to expect the draft class to be what pushes you over. If you're relying on that, you're basically a losing franchise. You draft for the future and you plug in holes with free agents.

I will say this. It does beg me to question if Aaron Rodgers had been more prolific in 2019, if the best player on the board would have been someone else other than QB Jordan Love. That four year contract extension signed in 2018 looms large.

Oh yeah, I mentioned this topic is about Kevin King. I think the Packers overvalue him. He's often injured or dinged up and he's another one of those guys I don't like because he celebrates the WR dropping the ball as if he did something. He can kick rocks.

I didn't like King's injury history when he came in. I think he's a decent player, but he's a guy I don't trust in the playoffs. That end of half TD was very suspicious imo.

Unless they trade ALL their draft picks to move up where they MIGHT get an instant difference maker, you probably won’t get a great player.
And getting to the conference championship puts you as a #30 pick.
So doing good (not great with a SB win) you are going to not get a high draft pick.

I heard that Kevin King has been in the hospital in Green Bay since the NFC title game.
He’s been in the “burn unit”. The doctors say they never saw someone with that many burns survive.

Chiefs got the best graded rookie CB, I believe in the third round, according to PFF.
